For some reason, my connection doesn't like outbound.me and so half of the LJ pages don't ever finish loading officially, even if it appears to be completely displayed. Load-times have improved drastically since I dealt with it. I also don't approve of this fishy link-jacking script to begin with, but it was less of an issue when it wasn't actually causing any trouble.

You can find a way to block the external affiliate script here, if it bothers you, too.

I have yet to come across any kind of interruption with outbound.me. I see people talking about it, but I haven't had a problem. I get it. It doesn't want me. I'm not good enough for it's script. :(

Huh! I know a lot of people I've mentioned it to just straight-up haven't noticed it, but if you don't get hit at all, I wonder if it's not actually site-wide and you're just on one of the lucky servers or something.

Aww, don't worry! I'm sure there'll be some other code bastardisation coming along that will love all over you. ♥

Oh, thanks. Because yeah... it slows me down too. I don't usually notice it at home but when I'm on a portable connection at home (or on free RP accounts), it's obvious.

Sure thing! It's amazing how many people haven't noticed or been aware that it was this causing at least some of the slowdown. I haven't had any problems with LJ since!
